INSPECTEURS

La présentation des dispositions relatives à la désignation ou nomination d'un inspecteur ainsi qu'à la remise du certificat correspondant et à l'usage de celui-ci peut revêtir diverses formes. Voici les modèles les plus courants.

Exemple 1

  15. (1) The Minister may designate any [qualified person/person whom the Minister considers qualified] as an inspector for the purposes of this Act and any person so designated shall be provided with a certificate [in a form established by the Minister] certifying the designation as an inspector.
  15. (1) Le ministre peut désigner toute personne qualifiée [compétente] [toute personne qu'il estime qualifiée (compétente)] pour remplir les fonctions d'inspecteur dans le cadre de la présente loi; le cas échéant, il lui remet un certificat attestant sa qualité.

  [ … la présente loi. Le cas échéant, elle reçoit un certificat — établi en la forme fixée par le ministre — attestant sa qualité.]

  (2) On entering any place [under this Act], an inspector shall show the certificate to the person in charge of the place [if the person requests proof of the inspector's designation/appointment].

  (2) L'inspecteur présente sur demande le certificat au responsable du lieu visité [des locaux visités] [des locaux où il pénètre].

Exemple 2

  15. (1) The Minister may designate any person as an inspector for the purposes of this Act.

  15. (1) Le ministre peut désigner quiconque à titre d'inspecteur pour l'application de la présente loi.

  (2) Inspectors shall be provided with certificates [in the prescribed form/in a form established by the Minister] certifying their designation as inspectors and, on entering any place [vehicle] [under this Act], an inspector shall show the certificate to the person in charge of the place [vehicle] if the person requests proof of the inspector's designation.

  (2) Le cas échéant, il remet à l'inspecteur un certificat réglementaire attestant sa qualité, que celui-ci présente sur demande au responsable du lieu [véhicule] visité [visé à …].
 

Variante

Exemple 3

  15. (1) The Minister may appoint inspectors for the purposes of this Act either individually or by reference to a class of persons.

  15. (1) Le ministre peut procéder à toute nomination d'inspecteur chargé, à titre individuel ou au titre de son appartenance à une catégorie déterminée, du contrôle d'application de la présente loi.

  (2) Inspectors shall be provided with …
