Services offered
The Family Mediation Program and the Parenting After Separation Education and Information sessionsare both offered under the Community Justice Division of the Department of Justice.

The Nunavut Court of Justice has jurisdiction over family law matters including maintenance enforcement, custody and access, divorce, and child protection.

In custody and access disputes, Legal Aid may be available to both parties through the Legal Services Board. The Board also provides representation for children old enough to instruct counsel, where counsel for the parents have indicated the child requires separate representation.
