Community Justice Committees

Nunavut's community justice committees allow for positive alternative, community-based participation in the justice system. The committees provide adult and youth diversion, victim support services, and crime prevention activities. Nunavut has established 25 justice committees in four regions: South Baffin, North Baffin, Kitikmeot, and Kivalliq.
