The "administration of the property of others" is a new concept introduced to civil law in 1994 and is not expressly reflected in the provision.

Given the purpose of this provision, it was appropriate to create subsection 29(3.1) in order to include the concept of an "administrator of the property of the company" in the English version and an administrateur des biens de la compagnie in the French version.

   (3.1) In the Province of Quebec the administrator of the property of the company appointed by a court of competent jurisdiction to carry on the business of the company is also deemed to be the company.
