Parenting Plan Checklist (PDF Version 115 KB, PDF Help) This checklist can help identify issues to consider when developing a parenting plan. The checklist deals only with parenting and child support and does not address issues such as property division or spousal support. The checklist identifies topics for consideration along with some questions to consider. These questions are not exhaustive and are simply meant to help guide your thinking and discussions on the topic.

If your federal payment has been reduced
If you have missed some Family Support payments, a court or provincial/territorial enforcement program may have sent the Federal Department of Justice a garnishee summons. When this happens, the Federal Department of Justice Family Orders and Agreements Enforcement Assistance Unit (FOAEA Unit) is required by law to interupt your payment.

In Canada, family law is an area of shared jurisdiction. The federal, provincial and territorial (FPT) governments work together to improve the family justice system across the country. To this end, they recently collaborated in examining a number of issues related to custody and access, including compliance with access provisions in agreements and court orders.
