WHEREAS the accused, a young person within the meaning of the
Youth Criminal Justice Act, was on his/her own admission or was tried and found guilty and/or discharged for the offence(s) set out in the attached information or indictment marked as Schedule A hereto.
- THIS COURT ORDERS, pursuant to 51 (3) of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, that the accused is prohibited from possessing any firearm, cross-bow, prohibited weapon, restricted weapon, prohibited device, ammunition, prohibited ammunition, or explosive substance except for for a period beginning on the day this order is made and ending year(s) after his or her release from custody, or, if he or she is not in custody or subject to custody, after being found guilty or discharged for the offence(s) set out in the attached information.

- THIS COURT ORDERS, pursuant to 51 (1) of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, that the accused is prohibited from possessing any firearm, cross-bow, prohibited weapon, restricted weapon, prohibited device, ammunition, prohibited ammunition, or explosive substance for a period beginning on the day this order is made and ending years after the accused's release from custody or, if he or she is not in custody or subject to custody, after being found guilty or discharged from the offence(s) set out in the attached information.
In accordance with s.115 of the Criminal Code but subject to any other term of this order, every item prohibited by this order and in the possession of the accused on the commencement of the order:
- is forfeited to Her Majesty to be disposed of or otherwise dealt with as the Attorney General directs.
- is not subject to forfeiture.
THIS COURT FURTHER ORDERS THAT
- The accused is required, within days, to surrender to a peace officer, a firearms officer or a chief firearms officer any thing the possession of which is prohibited by this order together with every authorization, licence and registration certificate relating thereto and held by the accused on the commencement of this order.
- Notwithstanding any other term of this order, the item(s) listed in Schedule B hereto shall be ordered returned to , a person other than the accused whom this court has found is lawfully entitled to possess the item(s) and who had no reasonable grounds to believe the item(s) would or might be used in the commission of the offence(s) set out in Schedule A hereto.
NOTE: Pursuant to s.116 of the Criminal Code, every authorization, licence and registration certificate relating to anything the possession of which is prohibited by this order and issued to the accused is, on the commencement of this order, revoked or amended, as the case may be, to the extent of the prohibitions in this order.
AND THIS COURT FURTHER DIRECTS THAT A COPY OF THIS ORDER BE SENT TO THE CHIEF FIREARMS OFFICER.
