  A look at Canada's Youth Criminal Justice Act which seeks to build safe streets and communities through prevention, accountability, rehabilitation and reintegration.

• Youth Justice Multimedia Program
  This kit, designed specifically for youth and the people that work with them, provides information through animated, interactive "Investigations" about the YCJA, the consequences for young people of committing a crime and the contribution made by professionals involved in the various stages of the Canadian youth justice system. The program consists of two CD-ROMs and a Facilitator's Guide that explains the program's use and provides advice and activity ideas.
