No family transitions accounts for 77.8%: Parents together (never separated) = 778. There are 210 separations. One family transition accounts for 8.0%: Parents separated - neither in new union = 68 and One parent died = 12. Two family transitions accounts for 7.8%: Parents reunied = 20, Father in new union = 35, Mother in new union = 20 and One parent died = 3. Three family transitions accounts for 4.9%: Parents separated = 4, Father separated = 10, Both parents in new union = 28 and Mother separated = 7. Four or more family transitions accounts for 1.5%: Father separated = 7, Both parents separated = 1 and Mother separated = 7.
