This is the second phase of a two-phase project that aims to increase awareness among English-speaking youth as well as their teachers and career counselors, about justice related careers that can be practiced in English in Quebec. It is modeled on the "Carrières en justice" project being spearheaded by the Association de juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario and will consist of an interactive website that will support other activities such as a publicity campaign and outreach activities. This second phase consists of adaptation of tools, development and distribution of promotional materials and high school activities, and the launch. It is expected that this project in its whole will increase awareness about justice careers among youth, thus contributing in the long run to improving access to justice in Quebec in both official languages. As well, it is expected that this project will contribute significantly to the development of an English-speaking network of organizations interested in justice issues. This project will be co-funded between the Access to Justice in Both Official Languages Support Fund and the Justice Partnership and Innovation Program.
