The Tsay Keh Dene Band has entered into a fundiing agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the Tsay Keh Dene Sulla Jlh Restorative Justice Society. The objective of the project "Tsay Keh Dene Sulla Jlh Restorative Justice Society" (TKDSJRS) is to build capacity of the Board of Directors. Training will be provided by the Justice Institute of BC - The Foundation of Collaborative Conflict Resolution Course and the Mediation Skills Level 1 Course. The course content and delivery will be customized and fine-tuned to meet the specific needs of the TKDSJRS. The TKDSJRS is made up of one youth, middle aged female and male persons, as well as elder representation. Tsay Keh Dene is the second most remote community in BC. Community members and justice stakeholders will benefit from this project.
