Figure 4.1 is a horizontal bar graph that illustrates the type(s) of sexual assault experienced by the 102 women who participated in the survey. The x-axis shows the number of respondents, ranging from 0 to 35. The y-axis shows the type(s) of sexual assault experienced: child sexual abuse, adult sexual assault and sexual harassment; child sexual abuse and adult sexual assault; adult sexual assault; child sexual abuse; child sexual abuse and sexual harassment and; adult sexual assault and sexual harassment.

The results show that the largest number of women (33) experienced a combination of child sexual abuse, adult sexual assault and sexual harassment. This was followed by child sexual abuse and adult sexual assault (22), adult sexual assault (17), child sexual abuse (14), child sexual abuse and sexual harassment (10) and adult sexual assault and sexual harassment (6).
