Graphic 7.2.1 presents the Canadian peace bond breach rate (in percentage) between the year 1994/95 and 1999/00. The rate dropped between 1994/95 and 1995/96 before increasing between 1995/96 and 1996/97. It increased again in 1998/99 remains almost stable in 1999/00.Overall, the rate remained stable, ranging around 5% each year.
