Figure 3.3 is a vertical bar chart which illustrates the most common support person used in cases with child witnesses under 18 as well as vulnerable adult witnesses. The Y axis represents the proportion of respondents, which is measured in percentages in increments of 10 from 0 to 50. The X axis is divided by four categories, from left to right: "family member", "victim service worker", "social worker/professional" and "adult friend", which are further divided by two sub-categories, from left to right: "child witness" and "vulnerable adult witness".
- 33.3% of child witnesses most commonly used a family member for support versus 20.0% of vulnerable adult witnesses. 33.3% of child witnesses most commonly used a victim service worker for support versus 40.0% of vulnerable adult witnesses.
- 28.6% of vulnerable child witnesses used a social worker/professional for support versus 20.0% of vulnerable adult witnesses. 4.8% of vulnerable child witnesses used an adult friend for support versus 20.0% of vulnerable adult witnesses.
