Figure 9 is a pie chart that is divided into different coloured sectors. Each sector represents a different response to justiciable problems. The legend beside the chart specifies the different responses given according to the colour that they represent on the chart. The size of each sector is proportional to the percentage of people that responded in the manner that is represented by that particular sector. The chart illustrates the following responses to justiciable problems, in order of most common response (and largest sector): handled problem on own (44%), assistance: non-legal (22.1%), no action: reason (16.5%), assistance: legal (11.7%), no action: not important enough (5.7%).
