Purpose:

The Mi'kmaq Legal Support Network, c/o Confederacy of Mainland Mi'kmaw, has entered into a contribution agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage a project entitled, "Justice Committee Training and Development". The goal of this training project is to: promote awareness of the justice system in a participatory fashion; collect information relevant to the community; and train community members in the area of conflict resolution and the operational activities and intervention of justice committees.
