Purpose:

The Sliammon (Tla'Amin) First Nation has entered into a contribution agreement with the Department of Justice to manage the Sliammon Native Justice Program (SNJP).
The overall goal of the program is to enhance and increase the awareness of improving community justice as an integral part of the Tla'Amin Community Justice Circle Program.
The program provides diversion measures, probation supervision and alternative measures to the Klahoose, Homalso and Sliammon residents of the Sliammon First Nation.
