Purpose:

The Esketemc First Nation has entered into a contribution agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the Esketemc Restorative Justice Program (ERJP).
The program delivers a holistic, culturally and community appropriate service, coordinated across various Federal and Provincial jurisdictions and community agencies to meet the needs of the Esketemc community.
The goals of the ERJP are to facilitate resolution of crimes, healing, recovery and prevention. The majority of incidents are handled through traditional Healing Circles a non-judgmental, safe environment for resolution of cases.
