Onashowewin Inc. has a contribution agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to operate the Onashowewin Justice Program. The Program provides post-charge diversion restorative justice programming to Aboriginal youth and adults in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The objective of Onashowewin is to help restore, heal and transform relationships between offenders, victims and the community. The program accomplishes this through victim/offender mediation, Community Justice Forums, conciliation and offender-specific programs.
