Purpose:

The Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation has entered into a contribution agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to develop and implement the Sagamok Anishnawbek Community Justice Program. The objectives of the Program are to develop and deliver culturally appropriate justice services to community members in conflict with the law and to reduce the risk of recidivism by rebuilding the connection of Sagamok Anishnawbek citizens to their community.
