Purpose:

The organization will promote awareness and knowledge of the issues of senior abuse; provide education on the issue of senior abuse and the legal aspects associated with it; expand the reach of awareness and knowledge to rural and urban centres; and explore approaches for moving senior abuse from the realm of "private matters" to the larger issue of creating societal change. To achieve its objectives, the organization will hold lunch and learn forums, develop on line and DVD resources, develop a brochure and a FAQ booklet in both official languages that will be used as a reference tool.
