Purpose:
|
The Victoria Native Friendship Centre has entered into a contribution agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the Ska'ls Beliefs in Justice Program.
The overall goals of the program are to identify and develop culturally relevant resources and to train service providers and members of the Aboriginal Community to take responsibility for their own healing journey and future well-being. This will be done while maintaining contact with the legal system in the larger Victoria area and south Vancouver Island.
