Purpose:

This project will see the development of a series of legal and linguistic tools. These tools include the production of Ontario French language jurisprudence, the standardization of French common law terminology, translation and the linguistic revision of original documents. This project contributes to increasing the capacity of legal professionals, academics, students and legal translators who use the services of the Centre to better service their clients, with the goal of improving access to justice in both official languages.
