Purpose:
|
The Faculty of Law of the University of Moncton intends to offer an enriched training in legal French and in jurilinguistics. The project will allow students with a good command of French or with an interest in jurilinguistics to improve their skills and knowledge in this area and to consider jurilinguistics as a career. It is expected that students will be more aware of the importance of language and jurilinguistics in law and that there will be an increase in the admissions related to this field, and in particular, through the University of Ottawa's Masters in Legal Translation.
