Purpose:

The Agency Chiefs Tribal Council (ACTC) has entered into a contribution agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to support the development and delivery of alternative measures programming in its three member First Nation communities (Big River, Pelican Lake and Witchekan Lake First Nations).
Community Justice Committees guide and direct community justice initiatives including, but not limited to, pre- and post-charge diversion, community sentencing, crime prevention, victim services and community education.
