Purpose:

This is a three year gang exit reintegration pilot project that will support Aboriginal youth leaving gangs as they transition into their home communities. Support, programming and guidance will be provided by outreach workers who will facilitate the making of "smart choices", re-integration, healing and recovery of youth into their home communities through traditional teachings and healing approaches guided by elders with the assistance of two Keskiminiheywina (Lessons of Life) workers.
