Purpose:

To provide ongoing funding to the organization to support its justice-related activities that respond to the priorities of the Government and of the Department and in particular to the areas of: promoting effective international cooperation in tackling transnational organized crime and corruption; protecting victims of crime, in particular children; helping develop more effective and fair justice systems in Canada and abroad; and, helping Canadians understand the importance of international cooperation and mutual assistance in the fight against serious crimes.
