The project aims to raise awareness, knowledge, and understanding of children's rights in Canada, primarily among law and undergraduate students, and to create a platform for dialogue to explore the issues involved with these rights. The project will consist of four components that focus on children's rights and the Convention: a Theme Document, student-run activities at the ten Canadian universities at which the organization has Student Chapters, a training workshop for the Presidents of the Student Chapters, and a social media strategy to increase awareness of children's rights. This project is co-funded between the Department of Canadian Heritage ($18,672) and the Department of Justice ($10,000).
