Purpose:

The organization will develop safety options for victims of family violence in eleven Northwest Territories communities that are not currently monitored by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The organization will facilitate two meetings with victims of violence and community, regional and territorial stakeholders in each of these communities to discuss safety issues, and will begin to identify strategies for increased safety for victims of violence.
