Purpose:

The University will create a pre-law program intended for immigrant students registered in the Common Law Program in French (CLPF) who have never studied in Canada. The program will improve their chances of success by giving them the chance to adapt to academic realities, thus making them aware of the different tools available to them and by giving them an overview of the courses offered in the CLPF. A comparison will also be made between the major legal systems and of the legal terminology of common law with the legal systems from where the students come from.
