Purpose:

This project will assist Ottawa Victim Services Inc. (OVS) in offering services through its Peace Bond Project. The project will target women who have experienced partner violence and are seeking a peace bond for safety reasons. The OVS will provide information on peace bonds to clients; accompany clients as they make peace bond applications and, where possible, advocate for and help clients navigate the court process.
