Purpose:

The Cross Lake Band has entered into a contribution agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the For as Long as the Rivers Flow - Creating a Community Action Plan for the Administration of Justice Project.
Funding will support community consultations to gather input that will be used to create a long term plan for the administration of justice in the community. Consultations will engage the community, including youth, as well as outside stakeholders. A summary report that identifies the community's guiding principles and an action plan to move forward will be produced.
