The Fisher River Cree Nation has entered into contribution agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the God's/Creator's Laws to Indian People National Cree Gathering - Justice Preparation Project.
Funding will support the preparation of a working legacy document examining what Restorative and Community Justice is for Cree People. This document will be prepared through a consultative process with community members in Fisher River Cree Nation and with select communities and individuals across Cree Country. The intent of the legacy document is to use it as a working discussion paper for participants of an upcoming National Cree Gathering in August 2011.
