The Dakota Tipi First Nation has entered into a contribution agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the Cante Waste Restorative Justice Preparation Project.
This project will begin to prepare the community to be full participants in a community justice program that integrates the principles and practices of Dakota cultural teachings. Community consultations will be held to provide members with an opportunity to input into the design and delivery of the community justice program. Funding will also support the development a program website.
