Purpose:

The Na-Cho Nyak Dun First Nation has entered into a contribution agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the Capacity Development Project.
With the intention of developing a community-based justice program the Na-Cho Nyak Dun First Nation will hire a Pilot Project Community-based Justice Coordinator to determine the interest in putting in place a committee, research various community- based justice programming options, consult citizens and experts in the area as well as develop training in the basic principles of natural justice and the local administration of justice.
