Purpose:

The organization aims to increase the confidence, skills and knowledge of young Aboriginal women so that they are better equipped to implement community action plans that address violence and victimization. The organization will work with an advisory committee made up of ten young Aboriginal women to undertake a needs assessment; develop, adapt and disseminate tools; and organize a national forum in Saskatoon in June, 2011, which will provide the networks and skills/tools needed to implement and monitor the action plans.
