Purpose:

Planning and development activities will be undertaken during this 2 month phase toward the creation of the Toronto Child Youth and Advocacy Centre (CYAC). Activities include the development of a governance model; completion of the descriptions of the Advocate's role and Advocacy Program; training workshops for member agencies for a program implementation start in April 2011 and the development of an evaluation plan for the full CYAC in the areas of investigation medical treatment, support and advocacy.
