Purpose:

The project will be a central service that is available to anyone who has ever been affected by homicide. It will offer support to those who have lost a loved one to murder, in the form of safe, no cost, self-help peer support. This support group will also offer information on how to survive the losses felt by these individuals. Activities of this group include creating a community support network to allow homicide survivors to share and support each other through their losses, hold regular support group meetings and hold topical meetings and potential conferences led by expert facilitators.
