Purpose:

The organization proposes to create a pocket guide to assist victims and survivors in their interactions with the media. Victims and survivors will benefit from the project by being given practical information about the media and how to deal with the increased attention immediately following a crime. The guide addresses a need across Canada and will be distributed to police detachments and victim service providers to give to victims and survivors in the immediate aftermath of a crime.
