Purpose:

The purpose of the project is to strengthen the youths' capacities to better understand family law in Canada by offering educational and information tools taking into account the challenges linked to ethno cultural origins. Information and educational workshops on family law and a discussion group will be developed and offered to youths. A manual with culturally appropriate examples of practices will be developed and be distributed to racial and ethno cultural francophone minority communities and also to community organizations to help them improve their services offered to these youths. The workshop, forum and manual will serve to meet the needs of a community that experiences many difficulties in accessing the family justice system.
