Purpose:

The organization will develop the business operational model, and identify the funding sources to establish a core "Starfish" Child Advocacy Centre in Halifax, and will build the capacity necessary to establish satellite CACs across Nova Scotia and other Maritime provinces by developing a toolkit which details the practicalities of developing satellite CACs. In a previous phase, the organization worked with key stakeholders to form a Steering Committee and complete a Community Readiness Assessment. Through this process, an action plan to establish CACs throughout the Maritimes was developed, which will be actualized in this current phase of the project.
