Purpose:

The organization proposes to establish a call centre which will provide services to victims of identity crime and individuals seeking information on identity crime in Canada. The Centre, to be located in Vancouver, British Columbia, will communicate with victims via email, telephone and the Internet, and offer its services to all Canadians. The Centre will train its staff to offer information to victims of identity theft and help them determine the appropriate course of action according to their specific circumstances.
