Purpose:
|
Through this project, Liberty for Youth will pilot and evaluate a series of programs targeted at youth in conflict with the law who are at risk of or involved in gang activities. It is estimated that approximately 150 youth will participate in programs that encourage making positive choices, peer and mentor learning, relationship and communication skills building and social activities designed to re-integrate them into the community. These programs will be delivered within youth correctional facilities and with various partner organizations in Hamilton.
