Purpose:

This project will conduct a feasibility study on the need, benefits and roll out of a registered communication intermediary service to assist Canadians with speech or language disabilities to communicate as completely, coherently and accurately as possible with police, lawyers, victim witness services and in court. The study will highlight the barriers experienced by this population and the current lack of communication support.
