Purpose:

The project will involve the development and the launch of a website that will deliver content related to victim issues and the criminal justice system. The website will support the creation of a national network of victims, individuals, professionals, educators, and agencies to interact and engage on emerging issues of interest relevant to victims of crime in Canada. The website will address and provide victim-specific education and supports; up-to-date information on new and emerging programs and services for victims of crime; access to basic legal information and resources that would benefit victims of crime in their interactions with the criminal justice system; a clearinghouse for victim-related information; and links to connect victims to services, organizations, and support groups across Canada.
