Purpose:

"Career Path" is a pilot program that will offer comprehensive specialized services for youth in the justice system and who are at-risk or involved in gang activities. The program will offer youth educational, training and employment opportunities by connecting them with an employer who will also act as a mentor to facilitate the making of "smart choices," foster pro-social attitudes, build leadership skills, and gain valuable employability skills as a viable option to gang membership.
