Purpose:
|
The NWT Seniors' Society is proposing to develop an interagency protocol describing how individuals or organizations should work together when they look into a situation of family violence. Rather than continuing to work individually, the protocol allows agencies to communicate with each other to increase the safety of victims and to meet the victims needs. This project contributes to the development of models and strategies to improve the criminal justice system response to family violence.
