The Ontario Federation of Indian Friendship Centres has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to administer the Aboriginal Community Justice Programs in London, Niagara, and Geraldton, Ontario.
The Programs are culturally-based diversion programs delivered by local Friendship Centres. The goals of these programs are to support Aboriginal youths and adults who come in contact with the criminal justice system and to provide meaningful alternatives which also address the needs of the victim. The London Friendship Centre will also provide Gladue services.
