Purpose:

The organization will provide direct and culturally appropriate support to the families of missing and murdered Aboriginal women across Canada through a Family Liaison Coordinator (FLC). The FLC will respond to the various needs of families from First Nation for information, referrals, and ongoing assistance in various situations related to their missing or murdered loved on. The FLC, on behalf of families, will also liaise with the RCMP and other police agencies on cases of missing and murdered Aboriginal women to provide the families with updated case information.
