Purpose:

Cowichan Tribes has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Justice to coordinate and host a three day restorative justice meeting for 30 British Columbia Aboriginal Justice Strategy Programs.
The meeting will increase the skills of the Community Justice Workers; develop and strengthen critical relationships with key justice stateholders such as Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Native Courtworkers and others, and build supportive networks for the Justice Workers.
