Purpose:

The Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services Corporation has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the "2013 NAN-Wide Justice Summit Project ".
The recipient agrees to host a summit on Restorative Justice Practices in November 2013 for Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN) First Nation communities, sponsors, and justice professionals.
The objectives of the Project are to increase the knowledge, skills and understanding of Restorative Justice Practices in a community driven way and deliver it in a culturally appropriate manner. Surveys, questionnaires and comment cards will be used to evaluate the increased understanding of participants on Restorative Justice Practices.
